PROBLEM:

Batch mixing of 2,000 gallon volumes of carbomer in water using just turbine mixers is very time consuming and final mixture becomes aerated and off speck "fish eye" lumps occur.

RESULT:
|
At liquid feed rate in excess at 40 gpm, the batch mixing vessel is fed with a 3-4% by weight carbomer dispersion requiring less than one hour to make up a 2,000 gallon batch. |
