OBJECT: |
Disperse dye powders to insure complete dispersion and maximum color value. |
PROBLEM: |
Dyes dispersed in water with paddle, steam or propeller can agglomerate and cause specking, streaking and/or settling. |
RESULT: |
By mixing dye powders in water creating downward vortex, dyes are wet out and no or few agglomerates form. By reversing mixer and homogenizing in up-mode, dyes are completely dispersed. This produces better color value and guarantees zero specking. |
AB MIXER: |
Small mixers can be used here since this is water (low) viscosity mixing. T-1 for 5-55 gallon drum, T-2 for 100 gallons and T-2 Sp. L. for 150-250 gallons. |
EQUIPMENT REPLACED: |
Propeller mixers and turbine mixers. |
