OBJECT:

Flavor emulsions, sub-micron droplet size.  Consists of:  citrus oils, water and stabilizers (modified food starch).

PROBLEM:

Provide sub-micron droplet size and maintain temperature below 25 deg. C to prevent damage to citrus oils.

RESULT:

Stable sub-micron emulsions.

AB MIXER:

SOLD three C-3-2 mixers, 60" immersion, 25 HP for production and one
C-2, 33" immersion, 10 HP for pilot plant.

EQUIPMENT REPLACED:

Cherry Burrell Piston Homogenizer and propeller mixer.
