OBJECT: |
Disperse lawn fertilizer components including Urea, Urea formaldehyde, potassium phosphate, mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP). |
PROBLEM:
|
Mono-ammonium phosphate is very finely milled and very difficult to mix in. The viscosity goes up as the MAP is added to the slurry. In addition, there is a chemical reaction - - this means batch processing causes too great a heat build-up. |
SOLUTION:
|
Model D-6000 Dispershear with gravametric solids feeder and positive displacement pump on discharge. |
AB MIXER:
|
Model D-6000 Dispershear
|
BENEFITS: |
Process converted to continuous where no other equipment was found that could accept all of the premix liquid and add all of the MAP in one pass. |
