RESULTS:

15% by weight mustard seeds in water recirculated for 10 theorectical passes. One pass: 99% minus 12 mesh and 85-70% plus 14 mesh with 10-20% plus 20 mesh and 5-10% minus 20 mesh. After recirculation, 100% minus 12 mesh, 5-10% plus 14 mesh, 70-65% plus 20 mesh and 25% minus 20 mesh. |

BENEFITS |
Mustard seeds easily cracked and coarse ground. Slurry grinding avoids dusting problems and heat build up problems which occur when seeds are dry ground. Slurry grinding eliminated over night soaking. Slurry from Dicon can be fed to stone mill for final fine grinding. |
