ARDE Barinco exhibited at the New York Institute of Food Technologists Suppliers' Day on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, NJ. ARDE Barinco showed the different types of laboratory and pilot plant mixing, grinding and dispersion equipment to the food technologists. Those involved in formulation, quality control, trouble shooting, and product development saw high shear mixers, high viscosity mixers, and wet grinding equipment that can be installed on the lab bench and then scaled up to full size production batches. All of the equipment that was shown was scalable equipment so that anything developed utilizing these laboratory mixers can be made in much larger batches or at far higher through puts. The Model CJ-4E with Powder Induction Device was installed and demonstrated. The Model DH-050 Double Helixx high viscosity mixer mixed a 1 million cps. gel. The Model D-1000 ARDE Dispershear was available to disperse thickeners such as Xanthan Gum, Guar, Locust Bean, CMC and many other viscosity adding ingredients. ARDE Barinco technical personnel from the home office were available to discuss food industry mixing and dispersion applications.
