SUGAR DISPERSION

Description
OBJECT: Sugar concentrates, 68% Maltrim into 32% water, at 120 deg. F.
PROBLEM: Disperse Maltrim powder into water quickly without forming “fish eyes”.
RESULT: Placed mixer into 120 deg. F water and added Maltrim into down-mode vortex for 13 minutes. Then, operated mixer in up-mode for 10 minutes.
AB MIXER: Model CJ-4B lab test. Sold CJ-4B lab mixer and C-3-2, 60 ” immersion 5-3/4″ rotor, 15 HP production mixer. In production, 2,000 lbs. of Maltrim is dispersed into 101 gallons of water.
