CARBON BLACK PRE-DISPERSION
Description
OBJECT:
Disperse carbon black into resins and solvents at 2,000 – 20,000 cps as premix prior to milling.
PROBLEM: Beaded carbon black is too large to be finely milled.
RESULT:
Dispersion to 10 microns on low viscosity (high solvent) products. Dispersion to 50 microns on high viscosity products.
AB MIXER:
Model CJ-4E in 3,000 ml container. Model C-3-3 in 1,000 gallon mix tank.
