WHITE PIGMENT
Description
MATERIAL:
50-75% by weight Titanium Dioxide in water.
PROBLEM:
Delump – recirculate to mixing vessel.
RESULTS:
30 HP Dicon slurry grinding pump can recirculate 50% by weight Titanium Dioxide in water at 100 gpm. Higher weight percentage of Titanium Dioxide requires additional horsepower. All lumps eliminated.
AB MIXER:
Model 6 x 3, toothed impeller/liner, 30 HP, 3600 RPM, 1/8″ grid.
BENEFITS: Energy savings in spray dryer had 10 month payback.
