CATTLE WORM MEDICINE
MATERIAL: Barely flowable white paste. Consisting of: Propylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide, Cellulose gum and castor oil. Specific gravity = 1.
PROBLEM: Shear and disperse paste. Heat from ambient to 55 deg. C (131 deg F) to cause thickening.
RESULT: Pumped at 0.7-0.3 gpm. After 3 passes, temperature and thickening obtained.
AB MIXER AND TANK: Model 3 x 1.5 toothed impeller/liner, 5 HP, 3600 RPM, 1/32″ grid. Recirculating to tank.
BENEFITS: Dicon able to disperse, thicken and heat. Dicon purchase cost noticeably less than cost of steam jacketed mixing tank.
