Description
OBJECT:
Disperse 100 pounds of alginate gum into 182 gallons of water (4%).
PROBLEM: Dual propeller mixers take 3 hours to smooth out lumps which are formed when powder is added. Lump problem can be pronounced if operator adds too quickly.
SOLUTIONS:
Model D-6000 Dispershear located with bottom outlet 31″ below top of tank. Dispershear dispenses and pumps liquid into tank.

BENEFITS: No lumps ever formed. Mixing time reduced such that second shift not required – – major labor savings. Model D-6000 installed at two different plant locations.
